PROPHON is a collective management company for related rights in music and for 20 years they have maintained a fruitful partnership between performers and producers with all business users of their sound recordings. Their team administers the rights to works from the Bulgarian and world repertoire. This means that in order to have legal access to all the hits that the customers of your club, cafe or hotel would like to hear, you must have a contract with PROPHON.
As a member of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) and the Council of Collective Management Societies (SCAPR), PROPHON gains access to the best global practices in music licensing. In addition to our mission to adequately value the work of Bulgarian performers and producers, PROPHON has reciprocal representation agreements with similar organizations from around the world. In other words, if a Bulgarian song is played on the air of a media outlet in the UK, it will receive remuneration for the corresponding rotation or public performance of music from us.
PROPHON is a co-founder and member of COPY-BG – a non-profit association established on the basis of Art. 1 et seq. of the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act, which is registered as a collective rights management organization within the meaning of the Copyright and Related Rights Act (CRA) in connection with Art. 26 para. 8 of the CRA.
